Psychology for the Body was founded by Ari Ginsberg, PT, DPT, MSIOP, COS-C in 2020 with the mission of providing psychology themed continuing education courses to rehabilitation professionals including PTs, PTAs, OTs, COTAs, SLPs, and nurses. In addition to being a doctor of physical therapy, Ari has a master's degree in industrial/organizational psychology. The goal of the continuing education is to teach the value of integrating psychology into practice in order to help achieve positive patient outcomes as well as to promote clinician wellbeing. In addition to live webinars, Ari provides consultation, coaching, and workshops for healthcare organizations focused on improving patient satisfaction, employee satisfaction, teamwork, communication, and clinical skills.
Nathan Kangas, PT, DPT, Cert. MDT, Cert. Tai Chi
Nathan Kangas, PT, DPT, Cert. MDT, Cert. Tai Chi for Rehabilitation Instructor, is an experienced healthcare and human development professional who is genuinely passionate about enriching the lives of others through education and empowerment. A licensed and practicing Doctor of Physical Therapy with seven years of experience, Nathan is also currently pursuing his master’s degree in industrial-organizational psychology in order to further improve employee and client wellness and drive organizational success through the use of applied psychology and the latest research. He practices telehealth physical therapy, works with leaders in executive coaching, and is an organizational consultant.
